HK Edgerton’s great Nephew, Simeon July 6, 2006 -June 25, 2023

Dear Ms. Lunelle,

Simeon La Mark Aiken was my great nephew, born July 7, 2006 ironically the day of his big sister Nyah and cousin Kendal's births.

Simeon would come very close to being pronounced dead on that day because the Doctors that delivered him could not recognize what was causing him to tremble and cry in obvious pain. He was finally sent to Duke Medical Center and diagnosed with Acute Spinal Meningitis.

It was easy to tell that the Holy Spirit was upon Simeon; no matter the suffering that his young body was made to bear, he never complained. There were many who cut on his fragile body with their scalpels and knives, and later announced that he had at best only only a day or two of life left in him.
