Dear Ms. Lunelle,
A year ago this week Judge Rossie Alston decided the fate of the Reconciliation Memorial when he decided to release his Temporary Restraining Order, holding the Army’s contractors back.
When he was confronted photographic evidence presented by Defend Arlington’s mighty fine attorney, Miss Karen, showing the desecration of the grave of Moses Ezekiel on the previous day, he refused to look at.
Instead, he would head to Arlington for himself for a private “ex-parte” visit with cemetery officials after giving the Army a ‘heads up’ that he was coming to see for himself what is going on. Doesn’t matter that “ex-parte” (excluding a party) communication violates Judicial Ethics.
When he came back to court, he spewed the woke Army approved narrative and misinterpretation of the figures on the Cenotaph of the soldiers and presumed Nanny.
It is important to note that the renowned Jewish sculputor, the Honorable Moses Ezekiel, a former Confederate soldier, upon the invitation of the United Daughters of the Confederacy after President William McKinley entreat, knew exactly what was wanted of this Memorial.
That White and Black soldier had two meanings. They not only represented the Confederate soldiers in the War for Southern Independence, but also their journey together in the Spanish- American War.
