Dear Ms. Lunelle,
The time has come when we of the South must take appropriate action against the unwarranted attacks on our heritage, culture, and memorials. The tearing down of the Reconciliation Memorial Shrine in Arlington National Cemetery was tantamount to an act of war.
Furthermore, the removal of any Confederate Memorial Cenotaph should be viewed as treason or an act of war and a crime and should be met with an appropriate response.
Going forward any business or individual that uses, rents, leases or loans any equipment for the intended purpose of removing a “Confederate Memorial” should be subject to having said equipment seized by the State, like any other equipment used in a war or in perpetration of a crime.
Crane-control laws should be passed in every state that understands the importance of its history, but especially our Southern states.
Your brother,
HK
