Dear Ms. Candace,

I would view with several of my babies the video produced by you on the institution of slavery. 

I would tell them that while I found it to be very informative; I would beg to differ greatly with your assertions that the Union army lost three hundred thousand lives in the War for Southern Independence with the intent on ending the economic institution of slavery….or that the 13th Amendment ended the institution of slavery in the United States of America. 

Lincoln knew that the Emancipation Proclamation had no legal power to end slavery as proposed. After being challenged by recently exchnged POS,  Union General Ulman, Lincoln confessed that the Emaanipation Proclamation was just an inoperative war document used to gain the support and sympathy from the European countries and to fester insurrection among the Southern slaves against their masters and his families.
