EDITORS NOTE:
Dear Reader,
I was angry and sad to read this report from Mr. Edgerton and expect you will be as well.
I believe this was an attack perpetrated on Mr. Edgerton to marginalize him and potentially have him locked up. The ultimate Halloween trick!
The culprit(s) of this nefarious scheme, if they are reading this, should know that Mr. Edgertons’ supporters will not allow him or his family to suffer. He is our family.
Your efforts may have given you a sadistic rush, but they are negated by love. There is a special place for you that you will discover in the by and by.
Ms. Lunelle
Dear Ms. Lunelle,
In a previous Open Letter and Open Report I would report on how so many people had come to me for help and that I mostly shared my foodstuffs with them or a helping hand because money was hard to come by because it was the primary commodity one could use in the City of Asheville, N.C.
I would receive a phone call from a gentleman (Mr.Logan) who said that after reading the Open Report that he wanted to help me and some of those people who cried out to me for help. And that he was so impressed with not only my efforts for the Southern Cause, but also its people, that he would send me $4,500.00.
I must say that I was somewhat skeptical that he would. However, I made promises to so many, particularly elderly friends of my late parents, that I might be able to help them soon, I hoped it was legit.
I had leaned on my little brother Terry Lee's hammer so much that, in one case, I asked some young Mexican men who worked for him to remove a tree from the wheelchair porch and to rebuild it and the ramp of this elderly 90-year-old lady, with only a promise that I would see that they would get paid.
Sure enough, the Check came on Friday, October 25, 2024. I deposited it in my bank, and on Monday, October 27, 2024, I deposited an additional $100 to my account. My account balance showed both deposits. I removed every dime of the $4,500.00, except $50.00, and began dispensing it to a very joyous lot until it was gone.
For myself, I purchased from Bojangles, 2 legs and a cup of beans for my sister and a thigh for myself ($11.73).
However, on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, I would receive a call from my Bank informing me that the check was no good and that it was from a rogue Company.
They asked if I had any of the funds left. “No” was my answer. They informed me that they would have to charge the amount to my account leaving it with a negative balance and that if any funds came in, to include my Social Security, it would be deducted to clear the deficit.
Sadly I don't know how I'm going to live.
However, I am happy that I made it possible for at least 21 people to live better after this the carnage of a terrible storm. And I truly thank those of you who have helped me. God bless you!
Your brother,
HK
