Dear Ms. Lunelle, 

As I stood on the overpass of Interstate 240W, don in my Dixie Outfitters shirt with the depiction of the Honorable Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas Stonewall Jackson held their last meeting,  two of my babies (Malick and Thomas) were conversing with me.  They stopped to say a prayer for me to have a successful surgery this coming  Wednesday, November 22, 2023; to give their hurrahs for me being out on such a chilly morning; and also for being at the Veterans Day Parade in Bristol, Virginia.

A middle-aged White man and woman would come to where we stood, and without the usual manners of a Southerner to say “excuse me” when interrupting people in conversation, he blurted out, pointing to me..."you must be that Southern Rebel rousing, Jew lover, HK Edgerton!"
