Dear Ms. Lunelle,
I would be remiss in my duty if I did not thank the Order of the Confederate Rose for bestowing upon me their breathtaking Life Time Achievement Award and Medal. I know that my mother is so proud and has reported it to all her Southern family in Heaven, and arguably all the Northern ones as well.
She is as proud of me as I am of her when the North Carolina Order of the Confederate Rose named a Heritage Award in her name. I only wish that I could have been in Cartersville to receive it and hug every one.
The Honorable Kyle Thompson of Calvert, Kentucky, when finding out that I had suffered a heart attack and was in a bad way physically and fiscally, set out to aid me immediately. He would establish a Go Fund Me account.
The Go Fund Me organization learned that ole’ Edgerton was that black man who had the nerve and audacity to don the uniform of the Southern Soldier and take to the streets of America with what Southern folk deemed the Southern Cross (Confederate Battle flag), spreading a message that Southern red folk from the six civilized tribes, yellow folk from the Yang families, brown folk from the Latino family, and most of all black folk, freed and indentured of the Southern soil would come together as one to defend their homeland from an illegal invasion.
Go Fund Me would immediately decide they would not be a party to any action that would aid a black man whose modus operandi was shedding a light of truth on the decent Southern white folk and their honorable families of the past. They shut down the Go Fund Me account and refunded all monies not dispersed back to the donors with the intent of leaving me as destitute as they had found me.
With the help of the Veterans hospital, the Honorable Dr. Neil Payne, some donations, and the prayers of so many; I continue to forget my way back physically, and continue to battle as the good Lord would have me do. GOD bless you!
Your brother,
HK
